Villa Kallas is located in southern-Lapland at Posio with a wonderful viewpoint on the shores of Lake Yli-Suolijärvi. At all living area rooms has large and wide windows which overlooks to the beautiful lake. Villa Kallas offers a high-quality settings for relaxation in the middle of Lapland's enchanting nature in all seasons.
Completed in spring 2021, Villa Kallas can accommodate up to ten people. The interior area of the villa is a whopping 169 m². A separate, high-quality sauna section and an outdoor jacuzzi for a rent will create the luxury for your holiday.

Rooms and equipment level
Villa Kallas has beds for a total of 10 people. The main house has three two single bed bedrooms (9.5m²) and a master bedroom (14m²) with a double bed. The bedrooms have wardrobes. The dressing room in the sauna building (14.2 m2) has a sofa bed for two people and closet space. Beds are always pre-made and towels are included in the price.
The living room, dining area and kitchen form a spacious ensemble. The comfortably furnished living room has a TV and an atmospheric fireplace. The dining table offers facilities for dining up to 12 people.
The kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and coffee / tea maker. Equipments also includes cooking utensils and a complete tableware. The hallway has a hanger for outwears and closet space for storage. The utility room has a washing machine, drying cabinet and rack, and a sink. You can easily enter to the utility room directly from the outside. The main house has a toilet and a separate shower.
From the atmospheric and spacious sauna, windows overlooks the soothing lake landscape. The modern washroom has two showers, a sink and a toilet. In addition to a sofa bed, the dressing room has a table set, mini fridge and TV.
Villa Kallas features free WiFi. There is a highchair and a travel cot for children. Air source heat pump also installed in the living room
Between a main house and a sauna department is a covered terrace area. The magnificent landscape terrace has facilities for lounging, as well as patio furniture for living and dining. Outdoor hot tub is located also on the landscape terrace and you can rent it from our additional services.
In connection of the two-car carport is a warehouse where you can found firewood. Next to the main entrance is an outdoor equipment store with equipment for tobogganing and snowshoeing, as well as berry picking.
In summer, a rowing boat and life jackets are at your free use.
To nature
Villa Kallas is located on the shores of the large and fishy Lake Suolijärvi. From the lake, fish rise from perch to vendace and from pike to trout, right down to the dining table. The lake with its numerous islands invites you to row a boat and paddle with a sup board. Kallas has its own sandy beach and it attracts to swimming in summer and the slope is a great place to downhill sledding in winter. The surrounding nature offers varied terrain for hiking, mountain biking and even snowshoeing. In the nearby forests you can find berries from blueberry to lingonberry and from the swamps from cloudberry to cranberry.
The traditional cross-country ski trail in the village of Karjalaisenniemi, maintained by the villagers, partially bypasses the shores of Lakes Suolijärvi and Soudunjärvi and forest roads. Multi-level ski trails for also skating style departs from Posio's centre Hiihtomaa and and Kirintövaara Ski Center.
In the area of the municipality of Posio, there are about 200 km of snowmobile trails to Kuusamo, Ruka, Suomu, Ranua, Rovaniemi, Taivalkoski and Syöte, and even further from these places to different parts of Lapland and Northern Ostrobothnia. The sleds can be rented from local service providers, but you can also bring your own sled to Kallas. The area also has a total of 25,000 hectares of opportunities for freeride snowmobiling.
